Homemade fruit juice to fight muscle cramps - Home Remedies

Need to relieve your cough symptoms? Try this homemade tea that you make yourself!

What it's good for

  • Muscle Cramp

The science behind it:

Muscle cramps affect everyone from time to time. Whether you get them after exercise, or just find your muscles are stiff early in the morning, this fresh juice is easy to make and provides all the nutrients you need to avoid cramp and your muscles working properly.

The vegetables are chosen for the fact that they're great sources of important nutrients such as potassium, sodium and magnesium, all of which are needed to improve muscular function and prevent them from cramping up when you need them.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium carrots
  • 2 sticks of celery
  • Half a cucumber
  • 4-5 florets of broccoli

Instructions:

Chop up your carrots, cucumber and celery

Steam your carrots and broccoli for four minutes - do not boil them as you'll lose a lot of the nutrients this way

Put everything in a blender and mix it until you have a smooth consistency - you can add a little water if needed

Drink straight away, or chill it in the fridge and and drink it later if you wish
