High Hurdle Exercises
Hip mobility is often overlooked, but crucial in not only
improving athletic performance and explosive movements,
but preventing lower back pain or injury too.
Coaching Points
- When performing the hurdles, aim to keep your hips and shoulder square. Do not rotate your trunk as you lift your leg over.
- In addition, keep your chest up i.e. don’t bend your back as your leg moves over.
- Do not rush the movement but perform each movement with good control.
