Simply talking through your experience with someone who listens and understands can make all the difference. That's why we are offering you a free 30 minute appointment with one of our GPs

We can give advice

Our GPs can give peer-to-peer advice and support around how to manage your feelings and experience. They can help to advise and signpost you on what the next best steps are for your health

We want to help

We want to support you in the way you have supported so many. This may take the form of ongoing support through a follow up appointment or signposting to other support services; because your health matters too

How it works

Request appointment

Fill in the form sent by your employer to request an appointment. You will be sent an SMS invite to sign up to the service

We will ask you to create an account ensuring you have a secure connection with our dedicated GP

Show Photo ID

You will be asked to go through our usual ID verification and show a form of photo ID you can opt to show this to the GP

How confidential and secure is the service?

Our NHS-trained GPs provide a confidential support service. GPs will not need to access your medical records and notes will not be passed back to your health records.

Only in extremely serious circumstances, for example if your own safety or the safety of others was at risk, would this confidentiality be breached, in line with GMC guidelines.

Who can use the service?

The "Your Health Matters Too" service is available to all staff, clinical or non-clinical, working in the delivery of care services at one of our partnered GP surgeries or hospitals who feel they need support and advice during this difficult time.

Who will I be speaking with?

You will be speaking to an NHS trained GP. Our GPs have the experience and knowledge to give you advice and support with your mental health and well-being.

Can I get a prescription, Fit Note or Referral letter?

No, the "Your Health Matters Too" is a support and advice service only. We cannot prescribe any medication, Fit Notes or Referral letters. If you need any of these services please contact your local GP surgery.

Will you tell my employer?

No, the service we provide is completely confidential.

Does Your Health Matters Too replace my existing mental health services?

No: Your Health Matters Too is a mental wellbeing service offering peer-to-peer support and guidance during the Covid-19 pandemic. It will complement but not replace existing mental health services. Our GPs will, however, be able to offer advice and signposting in regard to mental health where appropriate.

How do I cancel my appointment?

You will need to sign in to and go to your account area. Here, you will see your upcoming appointments and the option to cancel an upcoming session. Please note that you cannot cancel less than 30 minutes before the appointment start time. You will need to call our customer support team on 0330 808 4702 and they can cancel it for you.
