Here are some questions that have helped other doctors make the decision to work for Push Doctor.

How long does it take to apply?

Once you’ve clicked apply and started your application, it usually takes around 7 days to get set up on the Push Doctor platform.

Will I need to show any documents?

You will need the following documents in order to work with Push Doctor:

  • Medical Indemnity Certificate with GP online/telehealth cover
  • Up-to-date CV including 2 clinical references (or details of two referees)
  • Passport
  • Resident / Work Permit (if applicable)
  • Current DBS (CRB) certificate (dated within the last three years) with the following conditions:
    • A copy of the original DBS certificate with written permission to perform the online DBS status check (both parts will be sent to Push Doctor for verification)
    • If you are not on the DBS update service, your original certificate will need to be sent in the post and verified at the Push Doctor head office
  • NHS Performers List registration
  • GMC certificate or screenshot of membership
  • Adult Safeguarding Certificate Level 1
  • Evidence of training on the Mental Capacity Act within the last 3 years
  • Evidence of the mandatory NHS Data Security Awareness Training (previously known as Information Governance training)
  • Evidence of training on Antimicrobial Resistance within one/the last year
  • Last Appraisal document and/or revalidation certificate whichever document was most recently received

Is there training provided?

Yes, you will need to take training before you start working on the platform. This usually takes around 1 hour and you can book in for your slot once you start your application.
